ChangeHero is an instant crypto swap service, founded in 2017, for 250+ coins with no account needed. It offers a floating "Best Rate" and a fixed rate, and fiat buy/sell through partners.

Editorial note

Who runs it: ChangeHero is operated by Herofintechs Ltd, with disputes under Costa Rican law. Its terms say swaps are processed through third-party exchange services, so it works as a front end routing to partner liquidity.

Rates: the floating "Best Rate" fee is up to 0.5% and the fixed rate up to 0.7%, per its pair pages. Fixed-rate deposits must arrive within 10 minutes, and ChangeHero may refuse a fixed order if the rate moves more than 2%.

KYC: it uses automated risk scoring and may run KYC on a flagged transaction. Read this before you swap: if you decline KYC on a flagged swap, its terms deduct an operational fee of 10% of the amount (minimum $100 equivalent) plus the network fee before refunding. User-error recoveries cost $50.

Where it works: its terms exclude US residents, plus Ontario (Canada), Japan, Bangladesh, Bolivia and sanctioned states.
